Mit Mischtechnik auf Papier geschaffene Bilder verbinden die Leichtigkeit des Materials mit einer intensiven Ausdruckskraft. Pigmente, Tinten und Farben bilden vielschichtige Strukturen, die den Arbeiten zugleich Zartheit und Tiefe verleihen - das Papier wird zu einem Ort ständiger Verwandlung von Eindrücken, Bedeutungen und Emotionen.
Es ist eine vielteilige Erzählung über den Menschen, seinen Körper, seine Gefühle und gesellschaftliche Vorstellungen. Alle gezeigten Serien verbindet eine markante Linie, eine pastellige Farbpalette und eine rhythmische Komposition. Es sind Kompositionen, die sich vor Ironie nicht scheuen.

Mischtechnik auf Papier - obrazy wykonane techniką mieszaną na papierze łączą lekkość materiału z intensywnością wyrazu – pigmenty, tusze i farby tworzą wielowarstwowe struktury, nadające pracom lekkości, ale też głębi, gdzie papier staje się miejscem nieustannego przetwarzania wrażeń, znaczeń i emocji.
To wieloelementowa opowieść o człowieku, jego ciele, emocjach i społecznych wyobrażeniach. Wszystkie prezentowane serie łączy wyrazista linia, pastelowa paleta i rytmiczna kompozycja. To kompozycje, które nie boją się ironii.

Mischtechnik auf Papier - paintings created with mixed media on paper combine the lightness of the material with an intense visual expression. Pigments, inks and paints form multilayered structures that give the works both delicacy and depth, turning the paper into a space of continuous transformation of impressions, meanings and emotions.
It is a multi-layered story about the human being — the body, emotions and the images shaped by society. All the presented series are connected by a strong line, a pastel palette and a rhythmic composition. These are works that are not afraid of irony.
Ohne Titel (2016)
DE / Ohne Titel bilder entstanden in einer meiner intensivsten Schaffensphasen. Sie zeichnen sich durch eine rohe Expressivität und eine satte Farbigkeit aus. Starke Farbkontraste dominieren, während die dynamischen Kompositionen zwischen Materie und Raum zu schweben scheinen.
Es sind Arbeiten, die aus vielen meiner Bilder ausgewählt wurden und an ein intuitives, vieldeutiges Malen erinnern — schwebend zwischen Abstraktion und symbolischer Erzählung, in der jede Form zugleich Konkretes und Metapher sein kann.
PL / Trzy obrazy bez tytułu powstały w jednym z moich najbardziej intensywnych twórczo okresów. Prace te cechuje surowa ekspresja oraz nasycona kolorystyka. Dominują silne kontrasty barw, gdzie dynamiczne kompozycje pozostają zawieszone między materią a przestrzenią.
To wybrane spośród wielu moich obrazów, które przywodzą na myśl malarstwo intuicyjne i nieoczywiste – oscylujące pomiędzy abstrakcją a symboliczną narracją, w której każda forma może być zarówno konkretem, jak i metaforą.
EN / Three untitled paintings were created during one of the most creatively intense periods of my work. They are characterized by raw expression and saturated color. Strong contrasts dominate, with dynamic compositions suspended between matter and space.
These works were selected from many of my paintings that evoke intuitive, non-obvious painting — oscillating between abstraction and symbolic narrative, where every form can be both concrete and metaphor.

DE / Eine emotionale Vorstellung von Blühen und Aufblühen – ist eine Werkreihe über Schönheit an der Grenze zwischen Natur und Fantasie. Es ist eine sinnliche Erzählung von Natur in lebendigen und symbolischen Formen.
Die Blumen sind zugleich Thema und Vorwand – ein Ausgangspunkt für das Spiel mit Formen und zarter Andeutung. Die runden Formen und organischen Linien erinnern nicht nur an die Pflanzenwelt, sondern auch an eine flüchtige, intime Körperlichkeit. Jedes Bild ist ein Fragment eines Gartens – persönlich, geheimnisvoll und sinnlich.
PL / Emocjonalne wyobrażenie kwitnienia i rozkwitu - to cykl obrazów o pięknie, które rozgrywa się na granicy natury i wyobraźni. To zmysłowa opowieść o naturze w formach pełnych życia i symboliki.
Kwiaty w tych pracach są jednocześnie tematem i pretekstem – punktem wyjścia do gry z kształtem i delikatną sugestywnością. Obłe formy i organiczne linie obrazów przywołują nie tylko świat roślin, ale też efemeryczną i intymną cielesność. Każdy obraz to fragment ogrodu – osobisty, tajemniczy i zmysłowy.
EN / An emotional vision of blooming and blossoming – is a series of works exploring beauty unfolding at the intersection of nature and imagination. It is a sensual narrative of nature expressed through forms full of life and symbolism.
The flowers here serve both as subject and pretext – a starting point for play with shape and subtle suggestiveness. The rounded forms and organic lines evoke not only the world of plants but also a fleeting, intimate corporeality. Each painting is a fragment of a garden – personal, mysterious, and sensual.

Fruits (2017)
DE / Eine Serie von Gemälden, die an der Grenze zwischen Figürlichkeit und organischer Abstraktion balancieren. Die Werke sind ein visuelles Spiel mit Formen – appetitlich, prall, eindeutig und zugleich mehrdeutig. Ihre rosa-grüne Farbpalette und die vereinfachten Konturen erinnern an überreifes Obst – fast platzend vor Saft und bereit zum Pflücken.
Trotz ihrer scheinbaren Unschuld sind diese Arbeiten subtil suggestiv. Wojtek spielt mit der Konvention des Stilllebens und verwandelt sie in eine beinahe erotische Komposition. Doch statt zu provozieren, lädt Fruits zur Reflexion ein – über Körperlichkeit, Lust und die Nähe zwischen Mensch und Frucht.
PL / Seria obrazów balansujących na granicy figuralności i organiczności. Obrazy stanowią wizualną zabawę kształtem – apetycznym, pulchnym, jednoznacznym i niejednoznacznym zarazem. Ich różowo-zielona kolorystyka i uproszczone kontury przywodzą na myśl owoce dojrzałe aż do przesady – niemal pękające od soków i gotowe do zerwania.
Choć z pozoru niewinne, te prace są subtelnie sugestywne. Wojtek igra tu z konwencją martwej natury, zamieniając ją w niemal erotyczną kompozycję. Jednak zamiast prowokować, „Fruits” zaprasza do pewnej refleksji – o cielesności, przyjemności i tym, jak blisko są sobie człowiek i owoc.
EN / A series of paintings balancing on the edge between figuration and organic abstraction. These works offer a visual play with shape – appetizing, plump, both explicit and ambiguous. Their pink-green palette and simplified contours evoke overripe fruit – almost bursting with juice and ready to be picked.
Though seemingly innocent, the pieces carry a subtle suggestiveness. Wojtek plays with the convention of still life, transforming it into an almost erotic composition. But rather than provoke, Fruits invites reflection – on corporeality, pleasure, and how closely related we are to the fruit itself.

DE / Ein Zyklus subtiler und vielschichtiger Kompositionen, die zwischen Zeichen, Form und Geste balancieren. Der Künstler arbeitet mit einer zarten Pastellpalette, die durch markante Konturen und organische Farbflecken durchbrochen wird. Die Figuren auf den Bildern scheinen zwischen Abstraktion und Erzählung zu schweben – sie erinnern an Symbole urzeitlicher Rituale oder an Fragmente einer visuellen Sprache, die erst im Entstehen begriffen ist.
Die Serie konzentriert sich auf die Beziehungen zwischen Formen, wobei minimalistische Hintergründe im Kontrast zur expressiven Linienführung und Farbigkeit stehen. Es ist eine intuitive Malerei, offen für Interpretation, die durch ihre Ruhe und Symbolik zu einer Form visueller Meditation wird. Wojtek Figielski ließ sich hierbei von der Kunst Manfred Schülers inspirieren – eines deutschen Malers und engen Freundes des Künstlers.

Figury na obrazach zdają się być zawieszone pomiędzy abstrakcją a narracją – przywodzą na myśl symbole pierwotnych rytuałów lub fragmenty języka wizualnego, który dopiero się tworzy.
Seria odznacza się skupieniem na relacjach między formami, gdzie minimalistyczne tło kontrastuje z ekspresją linii i koloru. To malarstwo intuicyjne, otwarte na interpretację, które poprzez swoje wyciszenie i symbolikę staje się formą wizualnej medytacji. Wojtek Figielski inspirował się w niej twórczością Manfreda Schülera - niemieckiego malarza oraz przyjaciela Wojtka.
